Novena to Mary Help of Christians
Nueve días de oración con María Auxiliadora, poderoso Auxilio de los Cristianos y defensora de la Iglesia. Su fiesta se celebra el 24 de mayo; la novena se reza tradicionalmente del 15 al 23 de mayo, aunque puede hacerse en cualquier momento.
Cómo se reza cada día: el versículo de entrada → la oración preparatoria para todos los días → tres Avemarías, Gloria y la jaculatoria → la oración del día que corresponda → tres Avemarías y Gloria → terminar con las oraciones finales para todos los días.

O Almighty and Merciful God, who in defense of the Christian people admirably established in the Blessed Virgin Mary a perpetual help: grant us, we pray, that, strengthened by such protection, in this life we may, fighting, in death obtain victory over the evil enemy. Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

My dear Mother, you who in the triumph of Pope Pius VII showed your effective patronage, you spread your protective mantle over the whole Church and especially over its august head the Supreme Pontiff: defend him at all times from the attacks of the enemies, deliver him from afflictions, assist him always so that he may steer the little ship of Saint Peter to the port of salvation, triumphing over the raging waves that threaten to submerge it.

O Mary, Queen of the Apostles! Invocación. ¡Oh María! Virgen poderosa, grande e ilustre defensora de la Iglesia… Singular Auxilio de los Cristianos, terrible como un ejército ordenado en batalla… Tú sola has triunfado en todas las herejías del mundo. ¡Oh Madre!, en nuestras angustias, en nuestras luchas, en nuestros apuros, líbranos del enemigo, y en la hora de nuestra muerte, llévanos al Paraíso. Amén.
Súplica a María Auxiliadora. Necesitando un favor especial, y confiando en tu bondad, a Ti recurro, poderoso Auxilio de los Cristianos. Conocedor de las innumerables gracias que diariamente concedes a tus devotos, he puesto siempre en Ti toda mi confianza; y hoy, humildemente postrado a tus plantas, te suplico, con todo el fervor de mi alma, remedies mi necesidad… (pídase aquí la gracia que se desea obtener).
I know well, dear Mother, that I deserve nothing; and I even fear that my sins may be an obstacle to your goodness. But you can, sweetest Lady, deliver me from this pitiful state and make me serve you and your divine Son faithfully, so that I too may experience the wondrous efficacy of your holy help.
