Luminous Mysteries — for this intention:

1st mystery - The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan

The Spirit descends and the Father proclaims his beloved Son. Peace begins when we recognize that we are children of the same Father and, therefore, brothers and sisters to one another.

Intent of this ten: for the peace that Christ only gives, that he may root in every heart rather than in the agreements.

2nd mystery - The Wedding of Cana

Mary intercedes and Jesus transforms water into wine, restoring joy to a home. Let us pray that harmony may be restored to divided homes and that the joy of togetherness may return.

Intent of this ten: by the divided families, that they may find the way of forgiveness and reencounter.

3rd mystery - The Annunciation of the Kingdom and the invitation to conversion

Jesus proclaims a Kingdom of justice and peace, and calls for a change of heart. Peace among nations depends on those who govern them and on the conversion of each individual.

Intent of this ten: for the rulers and leaders of the nations, that they may seek the common good and concord.

4th mystery - The Transfiguration

On the mountain, the disciples glimpsed the glory of Christ and longed to remain in that peace. Let us pray that God's light may reach those who live blinded by resentment and hatred.

Intent of this ten: for hearts full of grudge, that they may open in the light of forgiveness.

5th mystery - The institution of the Eucharist

Jesus gives himself as the Bread of unity and leaves peace as his inheritance to his followers. The Eucharist unites us in one body and sends us to be peacemakers.

Intent of this ten: for peace in the nations at war, that they may silence their weapons and feel justice.

Closing prayer

Queen of Peace, receive the fruit of this Rosary. Take our supplication to your Son: that wars may cease, that enemies may be reconciled, that families may heal, and that my heart may find the quietness that the world cannot give. Make me an instrument of peace where I live, with soft words and gestures of forgiveness. And keep in us the hope that the peace of Christ is always possible. Amen.
