Rosary for people with addictions
We pray with Mary for the liberation of all slavery.
meditated rosaryThe addiction chain to the one who suffers and hurts those around him, and often will alone is not enough to break those ties. The Rosary places us next to the Cross of Christ, who carried our weakness, to ask for light, strength and hope on the way out. To pray does not replace the necessary treatment or accompaniment, but it supports the heart when the struggle is long and recalls that no one is lost in the eyes of God.
How to pray it
Pray the Holy Rosary as usual - sign of the Cross, Creed, and every mystery with his Father, ten Avemarias and Gloria. Before you start, do the initial prayer; in every ten, you welcome the proposed intention; at the end, the final prayer. If you want to pray it guided step by step, enter into Begin the Rosary.
Opening prayer
Mysteries and meditations
Sorrowful Mysteries — for this intention:
Jesus knows the anguish and temptation to flee, but he is sustained in prayer to the Father. He who feels the weight of his slavery can join his supplication to that of Christ on that night.
Christ carries the pain of many in his body. We ask for the families that suffer in silence, that watch, wait and sometimes they are exhausted by holding the loved one.
Humiliate, Jesus does not lose his dignity. He who falls is ashamed and discouraged; we ask that he not sink into guilt, but that he rise again.
It falls under the weight and needs the Cyrenees to follow. Recognize that it is not just a defeat, but the first wise step: we ask for those who want to go out and need support.
On the Cross, Jesus gives his life for love. We ask for doctors, therapists, volunteers and companions to turn themselves in so that others may regain freedom and life.
