Rosary for the prisoners
We pray with Mary for those who are deprived of their liberty.
meditated rosary"I was in prison and you came to see me" (Mt 25: 36). Whoever is deprived of liberty is not left outside the love of God or the memory of the Church. The Rosary allows us to pass through walls and bars to approach, along with Mary, the prisoners and their families. We pray slowly for them, we ask for conversion, hope and respect for the dignity that no mistake erases, because also their Son was apprehended, judged and condemned.
How to pray it
Pray the Holy Rosary as usual - sign of the Cross, Creed, and every mystery with his Father, ten Avemarias and Gloria. Before you start, do the initial prayer; in every ten, you welcome the proposed intention; at the end, the final prayer. If you want to pray it guided step by step, enter into Begin the Rosary.

Mysteries and meditations
Painful Mysteries - Christ imprisoned and condemned, for this purpose:
In the Garden, Jesus is arrested and abandoned by his own. His solitude of that night accompanies those who sleep in bars today, far from those who love.
Tied to the column, Jesus supports the punishment in silence. We ask for those who recognize their lack and want to change, so that the pain of guilt becomes a path of conversion.
Jesus is condemned as innocent, mocked as a false king. We join those who pay for the guilt they did not commit, so that the truth will come to light and justice will be done.
Others accompany Jesus on his way: the Cyrenees help him, women comfort him. We pray for officials, chaplains and volunteers who support the dignity of the prisoners every day.
On the Cross, Jesus promises paradise to the repented thief: it is never too late to start again. We call for the reintegration of prisoners and for the forgiveness that reconciles people.
Closing prayer
When you finish, you can offer this Rosary like a rose to the Virgin in the Rosary Garden.
