In a host exposed to worship there appeared marks that resembled a human face, interpreted by the faithful as the face of Christ.
Documented history and memory received
In April 2001, faithful of the parish of Santa María de Chirattakonam said they observed marks that interpreted as a face in an exposed form. The episode was photographed and communicated in the context of the Syrian-Malankara Church. No decree has been found to declare it a miracle or conclusive material study. The fact sheet classifies it as contemporary testimony and devotional perception, without ensuring that the image is supernatural or that the form should receive veneration outside the Eucharistic norms.
