In Amsterdam, a secular call Isje Johanna «Ida» Peerdeman (1905-1996) declared having had a first vision the 25 March 1945, the feast of the Annunciation, and a total of 56 alleged apparitions between 1945 and 1959. This is a story that calls for special honesty and prudence, because the ecclesial situation is delicate and it is appropriate not to confuse the plans. On the apparitions themselves, the judgment of the universal Church is negative: ya en 1974 then Holy Office, with approval of Pablo VI, declaró el «constat de non supernaturalitate» —se constata que no son sobrenaturales—, y en 2024 the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith made public and reaffirmed that judgment. Therefore, the alleged apparitions of Amsterdam are not recognized as supernatural.

At the same time, the Church has specified that the title «Señora de Todos los Pueblos» es teológicamente lícito y que el culto mariano en esa capilla es posible. A detail historically verifiable and beautiful: Ida placed her first vision on March 25, 1945, just as Amsterdam commemorated the 600th anniversary of his Eucharistic miracle of 1345. The coincidence of dates is verifiable; its providential reading belongs to the faith of the devotees. Concerning Rosarythe materials of the movement encourage to pray, but no consta that Ida's messages had the central place that it does have in Fatima or Lourdes: it is more pastoral option than defining trait.
