Ninth to Our Lady of the Market
Nine days of prayer with the Virgin of the Merced, Mother of Mercy and the liberator of captives, who came down from heaven to Barcelona to inspire San Pedro Nolasco to rescue Christians. His party is held September 24; the ninth is traditionally prayed of 15-23 Septemberbut it can be done at any time.
How you pray every day: the sign of the Holy Cross → the act of contrition ("My Lord, Jesus Christ...") → the preparatory prayer for every day → the prayer of the day → ask for the grace to be obtained → the final prayers (Greetings with three Avemarias and the final prayer).
Preparatory prayer for every day
Sovereign Virgin Mary, Queen of Angels, Empress of Heaven, chosen Mother of God, conceived in grace, to whom all the chorus of the Angels and Saints of heaven give up. I come to you to pray that, since you came down from heaven to earth declaring that you are Mother of Merced and Mercy, use your mercy with this humble devotee of yours. And to make you, Mother of sinners, comfort from the afflicted, help from all needs, I consecrate myself once again to you, as your slave and servant. Lead me, guide me, and love me, My Lady and Mother, so that you may be able to serve you and achieve what in this ninth request and desire, if it is the pleasure of your precious Son Jesus, who lives and reigns with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for all ages and ages. Amen.

Day one
Lord, God Almighty and Merciful, who thus to deliver your chosen people from the slavery of Egypt spoke to Moses on Mount Horeb, from a burning bush without being consumed, you also spoke in Barcelona to the Patriarch St. Peter Nolasco to rescue the Christian captives, being the messenger of your Most Holy Mother, the Virgin Mary, who came down from heaven and from the first moment of her life was like a miraculous bush, for she never touched the flame of guilt, nor did she lose the beauty of grace, nor her original purity; for the very heart of the Holy Mother, who is not in the love of my own soul, and is not in the love of my own, and is not in the love of my own heart, and is not in the love of my own.

Second day
Sovereign King, Father of Mercy and God of all consolation, who with the virtue of the rod of Moses you made known to Pharaoh the effectiveness of your Divine Power, for with it the hardness of that perverse heart was broken and your chosen people obtained freedom; we humbly beseech you, by the intercession of the Most Holy Virgin of the Merced, to support my passions and to soften the hardness of my poor heart, so that, with your grace, I may be able to break the chains of my guilt, to see me free from the slavery of sin; and to give me the mercy of your charity, and to achieve eternal glory, also for the ultimate. Amen.

Third day
The most merciful Lord and Father, who after having delivered them from captivity, gave the Israelites a column of hope and comfort, for during the day, in the form of a cloud, he defended them from the rays and ardors of the sun, and in the night, in the form of fire, he illuminated them to deliver them from all risk and danger; I humbly beseech you through the Most Holy Mary of the Market, that we might be free from the rigors of your righteousness and deserve, by your mercy, the divine fire of love that always embraces our hearts and serves the light that we will never dissipate the shadows of heaven. Amen.

Fourth day
Sweet Jesus, infinite God, the only begotten son of Mary! For you have manifested to men that the title of the Merced with which we worship your Most Holy Mother is pleasing to you: make us, Lord, experience the power of this heavenly name and unique devotion, and that the Queen of heaven and earth will defend us from the infernal enemy and all her aseczances and temptations, so that we may come to serve you in this life and then we can sing to you of praise for all eternity. Amen.

Fifth day
Clementmost Lord, loving Father and most blessed creator of ours, we are sinners and for them deserving of punishment in this world and in the other, but for your infinite mercy, you give us a safe refuge in the protection of your Most Holy Mother; you continue to pour out upon those we worship her as Mother of Merced and Mercy your divine blessings, that, free from the dangers of this world, we may come with your protection, to the safe Port of Glory. Amen.

Sixth day
Lord, God of Mercy, who through Queen Esther delivered the Israelites from the death sentence dictated by Ahasuerus; we pray to you, the pious owner of our souls, that by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Merced, we will be free from the death of sin, giving us the freedom of the Sons of God and living in grace until we can enjoy forever in glory. Amen.

Seventh day
Eternal and Omnipotent God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who crowned the Most Holy Virgin Mary with stars and clothed her with Glory and Majesty, giving her power against all our enemies; we beseech you with the greatest confidence, give us the favor of considering us as devotees and slaves of so enlightened Lady, for we invoke her as the Mother of the Merced and Mercy, so that we may be free from the stewardship of the infernal enemy now and at the time of our death and can achieve eternal Glory. Amen.

Eighth day
Most loving God and pious Lord, who, in order to deliver from the punishment of death your servant Nabal, you fought to bring down from the mountain the prudent Abigail, to bow down to King David; we beseech you rendidly that by the pleadings of the very beautiful and prudent Virgin Mary of the Merced, your Mother, who came down from the mountain of glory to the city of Barcelona to give comfort to all the afflicted and freedom to Christian captives, free us from all danger of body and soul and grant us safe entry into the heavenly glory. Amen.

Ninth day
God and Lord of the whole Universe, who, in pity of our miseries, has defied to come down to redeem us from the slavery of sin by becoming man in the pure insides of Mary; we pray you for that infinite love of yours, which, for you have chosen the Virgin Mother so pure and so merciful, to make her pour out upon all your devotees the rain of her goodness, so that by deserving to go up the path of virtues, we will achieve, by the intercession of the Virgin Mary of the Merced, to enjoy the Eternal Beatitude, to worship you in your heavenly mornings, where you live with the Holy Spirit and in the centuries, and in the Holy Spirit, where you live with the Holy Spirit and in the centuries. Oh, Blessed Virgin Mary of the Merced! Who can give you due thanks and praise for the so maternal request with which you have always attended to all souls? What praise can the fragile mortal who has not learned from you, my God?
Declare to accept our prayers that with all our fervour we address to you to thank you so many great favors that we have received from your maternal goodness. They are poor and disproportionate to your benefits, but do not put your eyes on them, rather think that we are your children and that, as very loving children we direct them to you. By receiving them alcanzus the forgiveness of our sins and laughing for the punishment we deserve for them. Listen to our prayers and make us achieve eternal bliss.
Receive our offerings, access our pleas, forgive our faults, for you are the only hope of sinners. By your intercession before your Son we expect the forgiveness of our sins and in you, O heavenly Mother, we have all our hope. Virgin of the Merced; help the wretched, strengthen the weak, comfort the sad, pray for our Homeland, intercede for the Pope, for the Bishops, for the Priests, for the prisoners and their families; experience your maternal protection all those who approach you with devotion and trust. He is always willing to listen to the prayers of those who come to your plants, so that they may always see their desires fulfilled. Pray unabated for all the Christian people, O Blessed Virgin, that you deserve to bring into your very pure bowels the Redeemer of the world, who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
