Consta de siete decenas, una por cada uno de los siete dones del Espíritu Santo: sabiduría, entendimiento, consejo, fortaleza, ciencia, piedad y temor de Dios. Tradicionalmente se reza durante la octava de Pentecostés.

How to pray
1. Al inicio: el Credo y un Gloria.
2. En cada cuenta grande, un Father seguido de la jaculatoria:
«¡Oh Padre!, envíanos tu Espíritu Paráclito, por el mismo Cristo nuestro Señor. Amén.»

3. En las diez cuentas pequeñas de cada decena, en cada una:
«Ven, oh Espíritu Santo, ilumina los corazones de tus fieles y enciende en ellos el fuego de tu divino amor.»

4. Al cerrar cada decena:
«Envía, Señor, tu Espíritu y todo será creado, y renovarás la faz de la tierra.»

5. Se repiten los pasos 2, 3 y 4 hasta completar las siete decenas.

The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit
History. The Coronilla to the Holy Spirit meditates on the seven gifts granted by the Spirit in the Confirmation: Wisdom, Understanding, Council, Fortress, Science, Piety and Fear of God. It is especially appropriate in Pentecost, but can be prayed any day, especially to ask for light in important decisions.
