Novena to the Immaculate Conception

Novena to the Immaculate Conception

Prayer for every day

Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed above all women, singular Virgin, sovereign and perfect Virgin, chosen to be the Mother of God and preserved from all sin from the first moment of your Conception: just as death came to us through Eve, so life comes to us through you, who by the grace of God have been chosen to be the Mother of the new people that Jesus Christ has formed with his blood.

To you, most pure Mother, restorer of the fallen lineage of Adam and Eve, we come with confidence and supplication in this novena, to beg you to grant us the grace to be true children of yours and of your Son Jesus Christ, free from all stain of sin.

Remember, Most Holy Virgin, that you were made Mother of God, not only for your own dignity and glory, but also for our salvation and the benefit of all humankind. Remember that it has never been heard that anyone who fled to your protection and implored your help was left unaided. Do not abandon me, then, for if you abandon me I will be lost; nor do I want to abandon you, but rather, each day I want to grow more in true devotion to you.

Closing prayers for every day

Blessed be your purity, and may it be so eternally, for all of God delights in such graceful beauty. To you, heavenly Princess, Holy Virgin Mary, I offer this day my soul, my life, and my heart. Look upon me with compassion; do not forsake me, my Mother.

Pray three Hail Marys

Your Immaculate Conception, O Virgin Mother of God, announced joy to the universe.
