Our Lady of the Kings is one of the most venerated Marian devotions in Andalusia. She is the patron saint of the city of Seville and its archdiocese, and her image is kept and venerated in Seville Cathedral, where she receives the devotion and affection of the people of Seville.

The invocation
Under the title of "Our Lady of the Kings," or "Saint Mary of the Kings," the Church of Seville honors the Virgin Mary as patron saint of the city and the entire archdiocese. Her image is venerated in Seville Cathedral, the heart of religious life in the city, and her feast day is celebrated on August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Virgin.
