Czech Republic, the land of Saint Wenceslao and John Nepomuceno, has a deep Marian devotion around its Palladium of the Czech Earth, the protective relief venerated in Stara Boleslav. His spiritual heart beats in two great sanctuaries: Holy Mountain on Příbram, the principal of Bohemia, and Saint Guesthousethe elder of Moravia, with the Virgin who throws rays. Land of icons, tears and shrines that resurrected:
- Filipov - The Virgin appeared to Magdalena Kade on January 13, 1866 ("My child, from now on you will heal") and healed her; the place is known as "the Lourdes of northern Bohemia."
- Saint Guesthouse - according to tradition, during the Tartar invasion of 1241 a spring sprang and a storm erupted that drove the invaders away; therefore the Virgin with the Child is represented by lightning.
