This directory brings together documented Marian chips from Australia, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. The distances, languages and rites are different, but each community looks at the same Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ.
How to travel Oceania
The index links sanctuaries, cathedrals, parishes, images, parties and historical stories. Each file retains its location, sources, confession or rite and the necessary causations. An oral tradition is not presented as a proven fact, and a church does not receive a Marian title by simple geographical deduction.
Australia and New Zealand
Catholic communities in both countries combine urban dioceses, national sanctuaries and memory of migrations from Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands. The fact sheets make it possible to distinguish real claims from simple cultural references.
Melanesian
Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia maintain a missionary history woven with local communities. The directory respects the dignity of its peoples and avoids reducing their Christian expressions to exotism.
Micronesia and Polynesia
Guam, Palau, Micronesia, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Wallis and Futuna, the Cook Islands, Niue and French Polynesia appear through specific locations. When a tab uses an approximate urban or insular marker, it declares it.

St. Mary, Star of the Sea, accompanies the peoples and islands of Oceania, protects those who sail, sustains families and always consumes your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
